New Scholarship Program Supports Aspiring Chefs
PHCA announces merit and need-based scholarships for deserving students
PHCA is proud to announce the launch of our expanded Scholarship Program, designed to make quality culinary education accessible to talented students regardless of their financial background. The program will award scholarships worth NPR 5 million annually to deserving students.
The scholarship program includes three categories: Merit Scholarships (for students with exceptional academic records), Talent Scholarships (for students demonstrating outstanding culinary potential), and Need-Based Scholarships (for financially disadvantaged students who show promise and dedication).
Merit scholarships will cover up to 100% of tuition fees for students with excellent academic records. Talent scholarships will be awarded based on practical cooking assessments and interviews, while need-based scholarships will consider both financial circumstances and academic potential.
"We believe that financial constraints should never prevent talented individuals from pursuing their culinary dreams," stated our Scholarship Committee Chair. "This program will help us identify and nurture talent from all backgrounds, enriching our student community and the industry as a whole."
Applications for the scholarship program are now open for the 2026 academic year. Interested students can apply through our website, and selection will be based on a comprehensive evaluation including academic records, practical assessments, interviews, and financial need documentation.
